 01  Do I need a referral from a doctor?

No, a referral is not necessary.

 

 

 

 02  How long will my appointment be?

Unless previously arranged, you appointment is roughly one hour long. For couples therapy, one and a half hours is often beneficial.

 

 

 

 03  What happens if I need to cancel or change my appointment?

As this time has been scheduled for you, 48 hours notice for change or cancellation is required or full fee will be charged. As counselling is one on one, if appointment is cancelled at short notice, it is not possbile to fill that time with another client.

 

 

 04  Can i get public transport to your practice?

Yes, Tao's office is right at Gordon Station on the North Shore line, only a 25 minute trip from the Sydney CBD.

 

 05  How many sessions will I need?

​

That depends on the individual client and their particular issues, goals.  Sometimes one appointment can give someone clarity, but often at least 6 or even more are needed.  Many clients often continue seeing Tao after their main issues are resolved. It is always good to have an independent ear to discuss issues and other things that come up in daily life.
